Audio Driver problems

Hey guys, I have trouble with my audio driver for a pc my friend just got, it's a little old and because of that the driver cd was lost, I actually managed to find all the drivers except for the audio driver for the motherboard and I was hopeing you guys could help me with my search.

I actually tried installing some other drivers that seemed good but just before the wizard was about to end the instalation, the pc would just restart.

I uploaded a report of the pc from everest if it's any help. THX a lot hope you can help me solve this problem.

Hi

Just for background have you had a malware issue with this PC which resulted in lost sound, or have you done a clean install of Windows XP SP3?

My best option for you is to download and install the Chipset driver from HERE then reboot (must reboot to properly install the driver)

Then install the Audio driver from HERE and reboot then test sound.

THX a million, it seems that the chipset driver was the faulty one and probably that's why I couldn't finish the instalation on the audio driver.
But it all works great now thanks again very much . and Happy Christmas.
