Audio selectively not working

    My sound isnt working for online videos or any games, but it works for downloaded videos and songs...im using windows XP and I have NO idea what could be wrong. I checked my browser settings and stuff and I didnt see anywhere that said the sound was turned off, I might be missing something tho...but it IS working for songs and movies, so I know it has nothing to do with my speakers...please help!
