Audio/Video problem

Hi everybody, I moved this past weekend and I am having problems with the audio and video on my win95 computer.

PENTIUM 2 233 MHZ
64 MB RAM
OS WIN 95
NVIDIA STB VELOCITY 128
ESONIQ WAVETABLE SOUND CARD

When I booted up after the move I was getting a message
CONFIGURATION CHANGE OR CONFLICT PRESS F1 TO ENTER SET UP

The sytem booted up normally other than that. Now if I run a video game the video works normally but there is static over the sound and sometimes a high pitch squealing noise. Now when I boot up the computer the error message is gone.

When i try to play a video clip on Windows Media Player 6.4 the video stops and starts. IF I play the same video clip on Real Player basic the video runs normally. Both, however have the same problem with the audio. I uninstalled Windows Media PLAYER and reinstalled it but still the same problem.

Also when I run a Spybot S&D scan the scan stops and starts like with the video on Media Player. The same thing happens when I run an Avast virus scan.

I also tried removing the Esoniq drivers and re installing them from the system CD but no luck.

Anyone have any idea as to what is happening here?

Hey everybody, I just adjusted the volume on Windows Media Player and all the problems I was having are gone. The volume had been set at 50% I moved it up to 75% and the video and music play normally. I tested different volume settings on it and it works at all volume settings.

Anyone have any ideas why this happened to begin with? Could the sound card be going?
If so , why would that effect the video.
