Tiger woods is back:) Here's the entire field.

1st round Grouping/Pairing yet to be decided.
Ben crenshaw is still playing;) as is Ian Woosnam. Langer still on the course - after being allergic to grass:-D Don't know what Sandy Lyle is trying LOL
Hope the Big Easy, Els does something, been a while. Same with Garcia. Hope Duval and mickelson put up a show along with the aussie, Adam Scott.

    Still rooting for Tigger though.

    Cheers..

Wow Sikvik, you're in India and you follow U.S. sports?

Well, what did you think of the win of Duke over Butler last night? Did you see the almost made half court shot at the buzzer? :wave:wave:wave

hahaha...I just got in from playing. First round this year! It was our opening day and the weather was summer-like. Awesome. My golf, on the other hand, not so awesome. Okay for the first round on the front. The back was just ick!

We'll be watching the Masters here. Hubby and I went one year since my grandfather has tickets every year to it (they sort of make the rounds of our family). I'd love to go back. That place is just gorgeous and it's not commercial like the rest of the tournaments that have the stupid corporate tents all over the place.

I'm also glad Tiger is back. :)

Sorry but honestly, I have no interest in Tiger Woods anymore. He may still be a great golfer from an ability standpoint, only time will tell. However, his actions off the course just make him a repulsive person.

He's an athlete. That's all he ever was, so I care about as much about what he does off the course as I would the guy on my street corner from me...which is not at all. He makes the game more interesting and as far as I'm concerned that's all that matters. *shrug* I'm sick of hearing about it from the media who feels the need to drag it all out for as long as it sells. I think his return will stop that.

and btw, the Masters is not about Tiger Woods. It's about the game of golf which has a long tradition. I find it sad that so many people make it about him.

    Thats exactly why he "apologized".
They do it with any great sportsperson.

I don't like him but I can't deny he's a great golfer, I know what it's like to be him....

Tiger Woods PGA 2006, by EA :-D

The only reason Tiger chose the masters to come back was they have a limited media policy. So there's only a handful of media personnel actually at the course. Either way, he is an amazing golfer, dumb for what he did but who really cares about personal life of famous people/athletes? Their human just like everyone else, lets just appreciate how they play the sport!

Did you all hear Tiger's 4 letter expletive on that par 3?:-D:-D:-D

I'll admit to having said much, much worse on a golf course, but not in front of a TV camera! :wave:wave

I guess if he can't do it anymore, he's going to talk about it! :-D:-D:-D

I don't think that he is cured yet, yesterday he described the greens as 'receptive' yet 'fast'!:-D It actually got to be interesting to watch the last round with all the movement on the leaderboard. Curling was over with, and golf was the only other thing left on TV. Those games are easy to multi-task with.:)
