Aussie DSL'ers...

Hi Guys,

Please shoot me if this is the wrong area to put this, I honestly could not find a right criteria for it...

Anyway, I am fedup with my Dialup, I can't take one more day of it.. I have sucked up that much, I nearly lost myself, but I have finally got the go ahead from my other half to get Broadband DSL.

Now all I need to find is a decent, reliable, friendly DSL provider that isn't out to get my money and in return I get a modem thats more like a centre peice.

All I am looking for is something arount 1024 Min, Preferably 1500, I high download allowance, I cannot accept less than 20GB, Preferably 40GB or Unlimited, And a provider that isn't more down than up, *Cough* Telstra!...

My MAX spending on a plan per month is $80... Preferably under that, but I got a $80 max budget...

Any help would be appreciated, I checked out broadband choice, but most of the providers their I do not recognise as a known brand, something I could vouch for...
