Auto Adjust In Progreass

Hello
I have had this problem with another monitor where whenever it awoke or was powered up, it would say,"auto adjust in progress"?
I have no manual and there are five buttons on the side but none say what they do and re black on black.
How do I stop this? Dell 18", Dell S2340M

The 2nd link said cannot find page but the first provide the manual I was looking for. I too Googled but you did a better job.
