Auto backup to google drive?

Hi everyone. i'm in need of a regular/automated backup solution for a few things. Most notably, the codebase for a game i'm working on.

in terms of size, code is pretty tiny. but it changes regularly, so i really want to have a backup solution that's done automatically on a daily basis.

and if possible, i'd like to use google drive as the place to backup things to. (because it's free and i'm poor :<) Although i'm not sure if this is possible with anything but their official client (can anyone confirm?)

i've tried the google drive client, but it's not suitable for my needs. at least, not on it's own. it creates a "google drive" folder on your PC and only backs up the contents of that, but ineed to backup several folders in different locations, and i need to do it without disrupting my current filesystem

i'm wondering if anyone can recommend any programs/utilities that would be capable of what i need. free ones would be ideal, but a one time cost might be acceptable too. x

 

If you would accept secure cloud storage somewhere other than Google Drive then a one-time subscription to Acronis True Image should meet the need. I believe you do get a free amount of cloud storage but there is a free trial available so you could check that out. It does cover all your other needs.

 

Seems you do have to pay for any online storage - sorry :cry

 

Adrive provides 50GB free online storage. I'm not sure if it has "auto backup" capability, though.
