Automatic Pdf Tray Selection.

I am trying to use a PDF tray selection software to assist with document page splitting. I have managed to use Print&Share application to do this, attaching it to a particular printer and has given me the result required (1st page print from top tray, all pages there after print from 2nd tray)

However, this only occurs when you open a document in PDF Adobe and select print yourself. It will then open the Print&Share software, where you then have to select print again. Which will then send the documents to the allocated printer.

My aim is to see if there is any middle software that will be able to link the Printer and the Print&Share software into one so multiple document batches can be printed at once rather than individually.

I have installed printer onto a server and it is shown in the control panel as a printer in it's own right. The Print&Share software is also in the Control panel section but isn't shown as a stand alone printer with an allocated IP address. So when trying to print from a core system to this printer, it seems to skip over the Print&Share tray selection settings and print from the top tray, which isn't the output i require.

So you split the pdf into 2 files - page 1 and the rest of the pages? Add a second printer in Windows (the same printer as before) then change the default settings to print to the second tray. At work we use tray 1 for printing 8X14 and call it the "ticket printer", then the second printer 8x11 - "reports". Here a few things I found to split and print PDFs here and here, this seems very doable. Also
