Not sure if its spyware adware or what causing it...but when I try to enable automatic updates in windows xp services...

I can set it to automatic..start services..click apply and OK..and it automatically is disabled again by magic or something.

    Any tips?

First, please follow ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

After doing ALL of the above if you still have a problem:

    - Download HijackThis 1.99.1

    - Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

    - Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file.

    - Before running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

    - Run HijackThis and save your log file.

    - Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next message. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post).

Is this log from Safe Mode? If so attach a new one from Normal Mode.

Are these part of your ISP?

    Hi,

Sorry not to get back to answer sooner, had family here all day.

The log from Hijack this is from normal mode...it's rather bare because I was trying to follow the tutorial page and delete what I could, before asking yall for more help. (this was before the windows update problem)

These are the DNS settings recommended by my ISP's website
    DNS (primary): 69.8.2.15
    DNS (secondary): 69.8.2.12

I just figured that was why they kept showing up on the hijack log.

    Thanks again.
