Avant browser executable

Now that I installed Syngate I'm learning all kinds of things about my CPU's activities. One of the most astonishing bits of info was that IE was trying to access something somewhere.

My primary browser is Firefox but I recently heard of Avant and installed it to try it out. Syngate lists the path as C:\Program Files\Avant Browser\iexplore.exe . What does that mean? Does it mean that Avant is using IE's executable to run? If so, am I actually running IE????

 

Yup, Avant is just IE with a fancy skin and a few new features. Underneath it all its the same buggy old IE
