Avant Browser?

Who, or what, is Avant Browser, and why does it keep showing up? It seems as though when I click on "go to our web site" on programs such as wincleaner, or poker stars, it comes up with Avant Browser and then it's placed on my list at the lower left of my computer screen with my other programs. And then I can't get rid of it. Where did it come from, and why doesn't it show up in my program list or my "add/remove" list? I'm not happy about this as I never installed it.
