avast, and "sexually explicit" email

hi guys,

having a major problem showing up in avast at the mo - since i last updated avast (to 4.6-739),popups regarding internet connections and explorer.exe just keep popping up. I have zone alarm and everything seems dandy there only that it registers explorer.exe is accessing the internet. I cannot prevent its access in zonealarm. Also, the avast scanning email icon is in the tray. I dont use any email programs so i thought this a bit strange. When I go into the internet mail section of avast, it is constantly scanning email, with the title "sexually Explicit...." I can see the name changing, and the current scanned count is 3177 emails and rising. I am at a total loss at what to do, I read your posts on spyare and malware protection and removal, and have scanned with ccleaner, adaware, windows antispyware, spybot. Mozilla is my browzer. Below is my hijackthis logfile.
I would appreciate any help here, i am at a loss what to do, other than getting another firewall and blocking explorer.exe internet access.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
