Downloaded AVG Trial security suite onto a Sony desktop, xp,sv pk 3, single core, hyperthread pentium 4, 2.8 ghz. I was up and running great. No more

I am growing old waiting for everything to open and run. I can't save word files, stop responding and they poof into the ethernet.

You get a license with the trial. I attempted to contact AVG rofl, can not email them as their support will not accept the data they require. Do I just remove the program roll back to restore and go back to AVG 8 which was working? Also my email is not accepting new mail Help!:cry:cry:cry

Thank you for the so prompt reply Will get on it right now. I have Ccleaner and use it daily. Is there a difference? or can I use it?

You might want to look at the other two freebies, Avast and AntiVir. Either one will make your computer appear to run faster than AVG, I suspect.

I've removed AVG 8.5 from all my windows computers because it is getting more bloated and slowing them down.

I mention this because eventually support will end for v 8.5 and you'd either have to install v9 or look for a replacement. So, start looking to see if either would be a good replacement for AVG 9.
