i was having problems awhile ago with running my storm codec/ media player classic because something wasn't allowing the .dll file run and avg kept detecting it as a threat. I added it to all the exceptions in avg 8.0 and it seemed to work fine.

however i have switched back to 7.5 for less resource usage less annoyance with scans. but now the problem is back and i can't figure out how to add exceptions.

i feel crippled without storm/ mpc, vlc works fine but i find it more annoying to use than mpc. anyone know how to add exceptions in avg 7.5 or someway to bring my beloved player back to life?

also, any ideas on why it is being detected as a threat anyway? i know there is nothing wrong with the file.
