AVG 8 Bin File Issue

For those of you using AVG 8, you may notice your icon is grayed out and has a red exclaimation point on it. You should also be getting a message about a .bin file missing. Just an FYI, it's on AVG's end and is affecting all systems with 8 installed. Your anti-virus is not compromised.

I have the same issue. I will wait it out.

 

Can't speak for anyone else, but the issue was resolved on my end this morning.

 

Yeah- I noticed this happening on a PC yesterday. I had just installed AVG and got the missing .bin error and I figured that the installed had been corrupted or misfired somehow. Glad to hear that it wasn't something I did, or something with the PC, but that it was an issue on the Grisoft end of things.
