Avg email scanner

    Hi there. I'm new to this so not sure if I am doing this correctly:eek:

    Have been using AVG version 8, but have just noticed that my emails are not being scanned. Neither does the AVG email scanner balloon pop-up at all when I am receiving messages. I use a gmail account via outlook express. Is there anyone out there that can help me check to see if my emails are being scanned or not?
