AVG PC Tuneup problem

    HP dv7-3085dx running Windows 7.
    AVG PC Tuneup system scan is hanging up when reaching the disk errors/indexes:cry section. A file called windows/debug/WIA/wiatrace.log is the culprit. Any help appreciated.
