    Hi,

I love this website and have gotten a lot of information regarding viruses and other programs from you guys. Currently I am having a huge problem with AVG. I wanted to uninstall it but it wouldn't let me. So i went ahead like an idiot and uninstalled it manually. So now when I open up Oulook (mail client), it keeps prompting me that AVG Kernel Error - No Interface.

How can i completely remove all AVG files from the computer so Outlook does not look for them? Please please help

    Thanks in advance
    Saurabh

okay i messed around a little bit and i deleted the following file from my system32 folder: avgxch32.dll

so now the small problem i am having is everytime i open up MS Outlook, it gives me a big warning saying the avgxch32.dll could not be installed or loaded. Unable to load "C:\windows\system32\avgxch32.dll".

how can i get rid of this so MS Outlook does not look for AVG files when it loads up. Please help.

    Thanks
    Saurabh

Reinstall the application, and then browse their web site for uninstall information, before deleting.

Resolution to removing the message about avgxch32.dll could not be installed or loaded.
    1) Start Outlook.
    2) On the Tools menu, click Options.
    3) On the Other tab, click Advanced Options.
    4) Click Add-in Manager, in the Add-in list, click to clear the AVGXCH32.dll add-in check box.
    5) Click Ok three times to close all dialog boxes.
This applies to Microsoft Outlook 2000 Standard Edition
