   AVG stopped working correctly on my pc. Problem is that I cant uninstall it with usual routes. Last resort was going to program files and trying to delete files one by one, some it would let me delete some it wouldn't saying I needed permission to delete. Original message when I tried to delete in control panel was that something bad had happened in app. Any Ideas. (Running windows vista) thanks!

   Try using the correct AVG Remover for your operating system.
   
   AVG Remover(32bit) and (64bit) ---> "Please run the below, re-boot, then run it again."
   AVG Remover
   
   Then run CCleaner's registry tool and "Scan for issues". * Be sure to make a registry backup when asked.
