I updated to the new free AVG 8 and am having problems.

My scan results included hundreds of entries all similar, (please see attachment). It will only allow me to delete them individually, this will take forever, lol, is there another way or am I doing it wrong? I tried to click on "remove all unhealed infections", but then according to Task Manager, AVG is unresponsive, then at one time it said my vault was full, so I emptied it, tried again even setting it to unlimited. I can't get rid of these hundreds of entries.

Also, AVG was automatically set up to check for updates when I turn the computer on. But it says it cannot connect to update. So, I've disabled the automatic updates temporarily.

Over the last couple of days, with the help of MG, my computer was cleaned. This is the first time after cleaning that I have scanned with the new AVG.

    Hi ooops!

I can't see the file names in your first screen shot. Are the files in the Vault legitimate files or are they infected files or what?

Can you return your computer to a restore point which precedes the upgrade / installation of AVG 8.0 ?

If you've never done this before, go to Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore
check the box to Restore my computer to an earlier time and click on Next. You'll see a calendar with highlighted dates. Choose one of the dates just preceeding these problems and allow your system to return to that date.
    (For Vista: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial143.html#restore )

If this works, then either use the older version of AVG or switch to another program like Avast until AVG has the bugs worked out of their new upgrade.

Let me know how this goes?

    Thank you.

I'm having trouble uploading a pic that remains clear. I'll try to crop a portion of the image see if that helps.
The files that I individually deleted were found under the "warnings" tab as shown, and I have emptied the vault already.

I'll see if I can use restore next .......

I tried a system restore, but I wasn't comfortable with the results as my FireFox browser window was altered in shape and I wasn't able to correct it. So I did an "undo" and went back to my present situation with AVG 8 installed.

I have since uninstalled AVG 8, and created a new restore point. I will now reinstall the prior version of AVG for now.

    Hi Oooops!

I'm glad that worked. Just wait a bit with the upgrade.
