avi file-splitting

im still having trouble trying to split an avi video into two parts,so i thought i would explain more exactly what it is i want to do.i have a avi video file(size798,124,348).i want to split it into 2 equal parts,the first part on one cd,the second half on another cd.any help still would be welcome

well,the file splitting issue is solved,but not in the way i hoped.i tried splittinng the file,and in my stupidity i somehow deleted the file,its all gone,erased from hard drive,bummerthanks to everyone who tried to help me,sorry im such a poor student

 

AVI joiner

Hi star,
I try to use the AVI joiner but after I joined the movies, I can only get chapter 1 playing. What I mean is that I already joined the movies (chapter 1&2) with a different file name but It only contain chapter 1.
The movies that I joined are having different video samples size (C 1 = 16 bit 7 C 2 = 24 bit). Aslo there are having different data rate ( C 1 = 125Kbps & C 2 = 102 Kbps).
