AVI joiner

Just saw the forum on AVI splitter and I tried the AVI joiner, interesting to know that I cannot join two AVI files into one cause their respective data rate is not compatable. Each file is having 125 kbps (video samples size 16bit) & 102 kbps (video samples size 24 bit).

Just want to know how can I join two AVI files with different data rate.

 

DivX Digest Has lots of information and tools for working with most types of video files.

Joining files with diferent color depth and size is difficult at best and the results when it can be done are not very good. You should re-encode using Virtual Dub or similar.

 

About a month ago I downloaded a program called Avi Revolution 2.2.0.10 which should be able to merge low & high bitrate AVIs.
There's another prog Compress AVI 1.05 - it allows you to combine low & high bitrate AVIs and compress them up to 40%.
However, I can't say anything about them, since I have not tested any of them yet.
