Baby Shower!!!

Just wanted to share with you all that I am having our youngest daughter's baby shower this weekend. She and her husband are due a pink bundle of joy on March 15th and I am so excited!!!! We do have 4 grandchildren already (from 2 other daughters of my husband's first marriage), but this will be the first time I have been involved in the pregnancy, birth and allowed to be greatly involved in the life of, so I am really excited!!!!

So...keep an eye out for baby photos next month because I'm going to be a proud grandmother........did I mention I was excited???

 

I went to a baby shower once. They sure made a mess when they hit the ground.

My mother in law has 6 grandchildren, however...she has never been involved in the birth until ours, and needless to say...she was absolutely ESTATIC!!!!! She still to this day goes on about how cool it was, and thank you...thank you, etc., etc.!!

@Rog - I'm planning to be around for when she is born, but not actually there. My daughter is a very private person when it comes to her personal things, and I think it will be a much more relaxed event for her if just she and her husband are in the room at the time Hailey makes her grand entrance into the world.

But I'll be there about 2 minutes after LOL

 

My 2nd niece is named Hailey, so I think it is a wonderful name. Congratulations to you and your kids. Happy, happy times.

 

Congrats! I have 9 and my wife has 3, so between us there's an even dozen.

You could say our kids are a "friendly" bunch. heh heh heh

No alcohol...doesn't work well in our family
