Lately I download some player and it came with this search enigine 'Babylon'. I have managed to remove the toolbar that came with it, but everytime I start a new tab it would go on to the babylon page.

So I wonder if there could be a problem there?:banghead

    HI

Check in Add/Remove that you do not have the Babylon toolbar there, if so uninstall.

    What was the "some" player?

What browser and version you using?

Also check and remove from your browser's home page. Next search the same from regedit, as there are at least ten+ keys - If I recall correctly and delete. It is a tad stubborn to eradicate, but easy enough.

    Cheers..

I have seen several PCs where Babylon installs are corrupted with malware. I would download and do a full scan with Malware Bytes to be on the safe side. If it detects virus or malware issues, go to the Malware Removal Forum amd run the steps in the "Run and Read Me First" sticky.

    Hope this helps. :)
