back up / disk copy software

Greeting!! Having gotten lazy in making complete backup's over the last couple of years, of course, my hard drive died.... I was able to save all my personal files & digital pictures, etc, but had to rebuild / reload all my software applications. I am looking for opinions on what would be a good application (preferrably freeware) to start making complete backups / copy of my hard drive. My new hard drive is a Segate 80 GB (w/ 8 mb cache) and I have a USB 2.0 160 GB Acom external drive. I am using Windows Me. I would like to be able to copy the entire local drive to the external drive (or another slave internal drive) and in case of primary drive failure, copy back the files to a replacement drive and have the system look like what I had. Also, I would like to be able to then make incremental backups on files that have changed since the last full backup. Any comments, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info... Willing to spend money on software that is helpful. I use & like Norton System Works, so am leaning toward Norton Ghost, but rather negative review on PCWorld.

I've just downloaded and started to use Karens Replicator on 5 PC's backing up to a server, seems to work fine.
