If I shut my system down my background will not stay. I have Windows 2000 System.

Maybe need to set up the policy of "Active Desktop Wallpaper"... or enable active desktop.

I currently have 5 computers in the house running windows 2000 and I haven't come across the wallpaper disappearing on any of them - they all have different wallpapers.
What wallpaper are you using? Are you running a special theme? Any special programs on the order of windowblinds or webshot?
