Hi i have some adware that keeps popping up. Believe me i have tried all avenues to stop this but every 10 min or so they just pop up trying to get me to buy there products. I want to reinstall windows xp pro sp2 as this is now the only way to get rid of it. My question is can i back up Norton internet security 2007 udates so that i dont have to spend hours re downloading them. This is such a pain and so time consuming.
I can not find any information about how to back up all the live-update files and i hope you guys can help...........:wave

    Hi

Well on the malware issue have you tried our malware forum and guide? run the guide READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide and gain the logs, attach the logs to a new thread in malware and describe your popups and the malware experts here will help you, may save a re-install!

But as to Norton and backing up the updates, dont think you can, you can however save the manual udpates so that may save some time.
