    Hi all,

I have been using Karens Replicator, which has been a great piece of software as everyone knows.

I am facing one small problem however, the network drive that I am backing up my files to always wants a username/password after a restart of the computer. So unless I supply the username and password, Karens Replicator will not complete the backup because it cannot access the drive. Is there a way I could store the username/password in Karens Replicator so that it can supply it when it tries to access the drive? I tried to have windows automatically log me in to that drive by mapping the network drive, but it still did not work.

I would hate to have to go to another software because I really like how it only back up files that have been changed, but if I have to make a switch I will.

    Any ideas?

I forgot to mention that I have Windows XP Pro.

This is a Network Drive so I cannot click on a "Sharing and Security" Tab like I can do with externally attached drives.

What I could find similar to what you were describing on Windows XP was the "Simple file sharing" option. I had it off previously, but I turned it on hoping that it would stop asking for passwords. It didn't do the trick. Is there another option for Windows XP computers, or does the option you're talking about exist, and I just don't know where to find it.

    Thanks for the response.
