I didn't quite know where to post this as it's wierd to me....Seems (a legal download) has got to its max and is now counting down..
    Reads like this
-389Kb/s and 1916400, and counting down....it took 2 hours to get up...why is it going limp on me...hehe

If the speed's dropping, it could be that the download server is getting busy and bogged down. If you're on cable, it could be that the node you're on is getting to much traffic. Could be a number of things.

Actually, I had that happen to me when letting Firefox DL Manager handle a 4 GB iso of Debian. It went all funky and corrupted the download. I think I switched to IE and let it handle it, and it was not corrupted that time.

I had a similar thing happen with the Macs at college, I tried to download a file, and they'd hit the limit, and keep going. I finally had to do it on IE instead of Mac's browser.
