bad car accident

well hey guys...just felt like letting the gang know that i got in a really bad car accident today. I was driving with 3 friends in the car, a group of my friends comes blazing by so i decide to try and catch up. goin about 90 (i will NEVER speed again!!!!!) we enter a turn on the highway and i start to pass him. for some reason he started to move into my lane, the front passenger starts to yell so i look over and hes REALLY close to hitting me. so, like a complete idiot, i jerk the wheel to the left forgetting how wast i was goin and lost control.

i got it to come back a bit but i was goin WAAAY to fast to regain control and it started a super-duper-power slide and we slid into the grass goin about 80. as soon as we hit the grass it flew up in the air, landed on the roof, up in the air again, back down, up, then down and landed on the wheels about 300 yards from where we started sliding.

I really dunno what happened next but i got out of the car somehow, walked around, my friend was standing out there bleeding from her face, and we looked into the back of the car where the other 2 people were. the trunk had COMPLETELY flattened and pinned them up against the front seats. the firemen had to cut them outta the car.

Somehow all i came away with was a crap load of cuts, a badly sprained ankle and a jammed thumb. one girl broke a few ribs, the other one just got banged up, nothing serious. the other guy who was in the back broke his neck but wasnt paralyzed thank god. everyone is gonna be OK in te long run, its truly a miracle that any of us are alive. when i get pics of the car ill show u how lucky we are.

also, PLEASE pray for the friend with the broken neck, he's gotta stay in the hospital for a few days and wear a "halo" neck brace for 3 months after that...

Holy. What a tough way to learn a lesson. Glad you guys came through it. I don't think your buddy needs the prayers, someone was looking out for you guys.

Like Adryn said, stupid driving kills. A lot of young people think it will never happen to them - until it does.

Make sure there isn't a next time. I'm sure you don't want to be going to anyone's funeral, or even your own.

 

Glad to here everyone will be ok. You were all very LUCKY and they call it LUCK for a reason luck runs out ! Learn from your mistakes and thank god your alive.

thx guys...yea i know, it was really stupid of me...i feel so bad, i almost killed 3 of my best friends. its more emotional than physical...well, here's a picture of the car:

Oouch, your one Lucky Dude in more than one way, think you might have used up just a few years "Luck" with that one. Stay safe and please, please remember the lesson.

 

OMG are you lucky!!!! as long as the law suits don't all come in at once. Seen it happen, be prepared. Glad your ok, and no one died that would be a hard thing to live with.

 

I cant even tell what kind of car that is.
