Am not sure if I'm going to St. Louis or not, don't have the money right now. Will make up my mind later this morning after I find out more. Please keep this in your prayers!

My mouth went wide open when I read the first three lines. I am soooo sry to hear that and I hope that your fund raiser is a success.

I'm really sad at this news Jack, but the fight is far from over, and I know from the experience with my wife that the brain can heal and 'rewire' in wonderful ways.

We'll be saying some special prayers for Debbie, yourself, and their families at church in the morning 'down under'.

Keep strong, and the Lord's blessings....Phantom.

 

Just got word that Debbie has suffered some brain damage, not certain as to what extent yet. Still too early to tell, they have her on ice as her temp is up as well. Keep praying guys, it's all that we can do at this point.

I really do hope for the best for her

 

This really is a shock Jack, I hope she improves.

 

Unfortunately, it gets worse. Just got done talking to dad, seems as if she had a coronary arrest this morning which they think brought about the loss of breathing. She is now in the same room at ICU as she was before, on the ventilator again but comatose. This is not looking good. The neurologists were unable to get any reaction and thier opinion is to wait three days and do another evaluation. My dad and stepmom said that they do not think she will recover but my dad did not think she was going to make it 2 weeks ago either. Just keep praying people, it is in God's hands now and His will be done but I sure hope and pray that it's His will to keep her here with us. I am without words now so I'll just beg for your help in prayer. I will be checking in and keeping you all up to date. Thank you again for your support, it's VERY MUCH needed right now.

Like others here, I'm not much for praying, but my thoughts are with you. It must be a difficult time.

 

So very sorry to hear about the setback Jack. You (all!) are still very much in our thoughts and prayers. The road to recovery can be a very hilly one.

i havnt checked the posts for a couple of days, and for some reason this was the first that i hit. cant tell you how sorry i am at your news. i know from experience what its like to wait for someone to make up thier mind whether to die or not. you and your sister and the rest of your family are of course in my prayers. my heart goes out to you. go to your sister if you feel you should. money is not the problem, fear is. regrets are hard enough to deal with. email me if you need to talk to someone thats been there. all my aloha to you. laurie

everytime i see this forum posted on the new posts section i somewhat gasp knowing that something bad or perhaps very good is about to seen. As everyone in this part of the internet is saying; i hope she gets well very soon and has a full recovery.

What can I say that hasn't been expressed so well by others. My heart and prayers be with you. Don't let money be an obstacle for what you feel you need to do...the Lord will see you and your family through this..so keep the faith.
