Bare-metal restore for home True Image

Acronis have just released add-on for Home True Image named Plus Pack which includes enterprise features - well, yes, it costs money, but as for me - the universal restore worth it! What is in Plus Pack:

-Restore to Dissimilar Hardware - allows to restore your data regardless of hardware
-Dynamic Disk Support - backup ad restore dynamic volumes
-WinPE Support - integrates latest MS drivers, apps & plugins on your bootable media

As longtime Acronis users know only too well, Acronis doesn't always deliver on all the amazing capabilities they claim, but if if the PlusPack only delivers half of what it promises it's too good to miss at $29.99. Thanks for the heads up It doesn't appear on the UK site yet, so we'll have to wait a day or two to see what they want for it here.

btw, a new build of 2010 was released on Nov 3, described on the UK site as #6029.

 

well, the best way to know - is to try. I didn't touch it myself yet, but if it really be the universal restore for 30$ I'll be happy!
