    Hello,

I am trying to start learning some PHP for web design mostly and I started by installing an Apache server, PHP 5 and latest MySQL. I used a tutorial for this so I think I've done it right.

However, I want to follow this guide on W3Schools and it doesn't tell me how to use the PHP I installed because there's no executable file or such.

So, where can I write the code, and see the output?

Typically, you embed PHP into HTML code.

W3schools does cover this.... see this link... are you not going through the PHP tutorial?

You can test your PHP install by using the php_info() function. This should output all the technical info of your install on the page.
