.bat help

Here is what I need the .bat to do i hope someone can help:

First it will scan a log file that my program created.
If it finds a certain line in that log. i.e. User is already connected.
The it shutsdown the program and restarts it.

Is this possible? Than you ahead of time.

 

Pretty tricky with a .bat file.

I know this could be done with VBScript... are you familiar at all?

 

I use vs 2003 to compile my program. But im not too techniqually sound in that field. Meaning I know of If then statements but Im not too sure of what to put after that. I wish it was as easy as

If program crashs or freezes
Then restart it
