Does anyone know how to do this? I have big meg jpgs, too big for email and want to downsize them for dialup friends. I have XP home and Photoshop. I could do them one by one in Photoshop but is there a better easier way?

Highlight all desired files in Explorer. Right click and choose Send To -> Mail Recipient. Dialog will open asking if you want to make all files smaller. Say Yes-- it will ask you again next time so don't worry about a permanent change to the behavior. Either mail them to whomever, or to yourself and then save the reduced-size copies somewhere other than the folder containing the originals (so you don't overwrite).

For emailing photos, what TheDoug told you is by far the easiest for resizing for email.

You said you have Photoshop so I'll give you a quick tip on batch processing.

P/Shop comes with a Image Processor which easily applies changes to batches of photos.
You can select the size it will change them too and also the quality and it will leave your originals as they were. It creates a new set of images with the changes you wanted in a new folder and a location of your choosing.

    Boot Photoshop, then simply:

File>Scripts>Image Processor and away you go. Easy.

Thanks... it's so easy when you know how.
