bathroom flooring ugh

linoleum is out except for right around the toilet. Not doing that till the toilet is actually out. At a minimum we are doing new toilet and tile floor. Now we are wondering if we should tear out the vanity as well.

The vanity has a long marble extension over the toilet and is glued to the wall. Im betting if I rip it out half the wall is coming with it. Sigh...

Why is Linoleum out? It's not that hard to put down, as long as you do it correctly, and it lasts for years. I know I spent several years installing it.

 

I think he means it is out of his bathroom except for a piece around the toilet.

 

..Must be a slow worker, then. LOL

 

You can count on the wall coming with it, so just minimize the damage and patch.

 

Only because I didn't want to glue myself to the floor.

 

The IVC Earthscapes is a very good vinyl . Takes a pressure sensitive glue so if you ever have a flood from a broken pipe you can pull it back , let it dry , re glue and put it back down . Make sure to put new underlayment down .
