Bat's in my roof

Before you all go arrrrr, no there not the rodent type that fly.thanx to our government and there free hand outs and wanting to reduce green house gases and the cost to the environment through electricity manufacturing.
They payed a $1200.00 dollar grant to each household without insulation towards the installation cost and as my hut was less than the grant to get this done it cost us nicks.i think that is a great chrissy present don't you.:-D:-D:-D

 

Never say the government never gave you anything. Seriously, that's great! Do you get to keep the leftover money?

 

no it was only a couple of bucks just enough for the workers to go and have a cold beer after sweating it out in my roof

 

I can think of a lot worse things to spend those buck on then a cold beer... :drink

 

yeah me personally it would have been a couple of cans of soda as i don't drink alcohol in any form.

So the Government paid to have your roof insulated? That sounds like an offer would be dumb to pass. That will help on your electric. Always good to here great news in times like we are in right now.I'm happy for you.

They, (Fed.Govt.) are paying up to $1,600 for roof insulation, or $1,200, or some sum such towards solar heating, also grants for solar cell intaillation, etc. Good to see the Govt. actually putting money up and contributing to environmental energy savings. ~ Too late for me, though, as I already all of those items installed.

 

They do the same over here in the UK iwunderdownunder and if your a pensioner with no central heating they'll even install that for you too, we're getting ours done after the holidays, not the central heating though as we're far to young for that !
