Battery Problem

    I have a compaq presario 2500 laptop. Just this month when I plugged the computer into the charger it would show it was charging then it would show that the computer was using battery and then the battery would go from fully charged to 3%, all while being plugged in. Wiggling the contection would not help. So I bought a new Charger. That didn't change anything so I bought a new battery. NO CHANGE! I called a Computer repair place and they said junk it and buy a new laptop. What do you think?

    maybe somethings wrong with either the battery or the recharger. Try getting new ones.

    I tried brand new charger and new battery.
    No difference.

    Compaq laptops are not junk don't listen to them. Sounds like something shorted out in the laptop
