    8 Cores sounds good but so long as they can be kept cool.

    A $30 Coolermaster Hyper 212+ will do just fine if one is going to overclock it to the hilt, otherwise the stock AMD HS/F works just fine in my experience(talking about previous CPU's of course). The THD is still 125W like the 6 cored Thuban 1090T is now.

    Actually, I believe it is more of a glorified quad core. A pair of cores in the BD architecture is called a module .
    From the Wiki:
    AMD has introduced a new microarchitecture building block called module. In terms of hardware complexity and functionality, a module is midway between a dual-core processor (in which each core is fully independent) and a single processor core that has two SMT threads (in which each thread shares most of the hardware resources with the other thread).
