My computer has started becoming slower and slower to boot. Two days ago during boot up my screen would basically be blank for an extended period of time . Eventually is does boot up and all of my applications appear to run properly but my Laptop is noticeably slower. I came to this forum for advice and hopefully help cleaning my system and removing the trojan or whatever has embedded itself in my computer.

    I have a Dell Inspiron N7110.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). Windows updates are set to install daily.

My antivirus program is McAfee Security Center with "real-time scanning" enabled and updates are set to download and install automatically.

I had also been runing IObit Advanced System Care Ultimate 6 prior to following advice from this sites thread http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407

I carefully followed all of the instructions on the above link. I've attached 2 documents to this thread which include the various logs as well as the zip file for MGtools. TDSSKiller scanned 509 objects and found no threats. HitmanPro 3.7.8 - Build 207 (64-bit)...Identified Threats: 0 (Traces: 86) No threats found.

I would appreciate help in removing whatever has infected my computer. Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Hi there :) Could you attach those logs in notepad (text file) form, rather than the document, please? Thanks.

I am not seeing any signs of malware here. I suggest that you post about this in the software forum. :)

    Thank you!

When I saw that [HJ POL] [PUM] was found I had a panic moment. In doing more research I realize that these are OK.

    No, they're not problems. :)

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.

    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
