Belkin F5D8011 N1 PCMCIA

Hi, I just bought a Belkin F5D8011 N1 PCMCIA adapter for $15.00 and the dog gone thing doesn't work. It powers up but it appears the radio never turns on to recieve/transmit. Anyway my question is, has anyone had any experience with this card and why are they so damn cheap? I went to exchange it at CompUSA and they are all sold out and they don't expect to get any more in. I looked on line and found plaaces that sell them anywhere from $20 to $90, should I send this card into Belkin for replacement or just get my money back?

PS I worked with Belkin Tech support and they came to the conclusion that the unit is faulted
