   NewsFlash Corporal

   Lately I can hear my modem when I'm on the phone that's in the same wall jack as the modem line. It also takes longer for the DSL light to come on the modem to establish a connection, and when it does it goes off alot. I called Sympatico and they sent me more filters, which hasn't solved the problem. Just wondering if any of you people have experienced this.

   Yes, I had to call both ISP and Phone Co. as I knew the problem was the line quality settings, after a few too's and fro's between the two the phone co. said they had been adjusting/fixing a falut and said engineer hadnt tested the line fully, resulting in static/noisey line, they adjusted the gain and back to normal was my phone and internet quality.
