Very snappy, and a lot more stable than anything I've tried since Beryl 0.1.4.

 

I want to get linux just for this, but there are no x-fi drivers or DELL printer drivers

 

Dell doesn't make printers, they merely slap their badges on others (usually Lexmark).

Have you found out what model the printer really is, underneath the badge?

Increase the 3D settings to make the windows above really stand above others!

It is frustrating to lose the KDE taskbar and clock. I have yet to figure out how to get it visible except to restart X. I also cannot get XGL login with my box.

I hate the standout effect.

Also, I dont use XGL, and Im using a modular, custom KDE 3.5.6 installation.

Maybe that makes a difference.
