I had a Lexmark which broke. I replaced it with an HP Officejet J4580. I can't figure out the directions for scanning a newspaper clipping so that I can email it. I had no trouble with the Lexmark in this situation. So now I'm hunting for a different all-in-one under $150 that's easy for a non-geek to figure out. Thanks for any ideas.

I don't know what the "best" one is; I'm not sure anybody does. I bought my first all-in-one in March 2009. Since it's the only all-in-one I've really have much experience with, I'll at least mention the brand as one you might consider. Mine is a Brother MFC-790CW. I bought it from newegg.com and I see they no longer have it. So, you might take a look at another model: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16828113453
