Best and free anti spyware software

What is the best and free anti spyware software?
I'm asking because i'm using microsoft's anti spyware program and to me it's a little slow at loading.

 

Hi I like Spyware Guard and Spyware Blaster they run silently dont use resources except when updating and you can download them from here.

No, it should be OK.

SPYWARE DOCTOR is shareware, but it's a time-unlimited trial version.

It does not remove existing threats during scans, but real-time detection and removal of incoming threats is enabled.

It's probably one of the best spyware programs currently, and best of all it's Australian.

I don't have any problem with AVG or Firefox I have both run great just a heads up watch the spyware specific Chas is helping me with the latest in protection listed in" Yall won't believe this"

I'm now running spyware guard now with IE and it seems to be working fine.

 

Or you could try non signature based software such as Defensewall(30 day trial I think) and Sandboxie(nag screen after 30 days).

These run your your browser in a virtual environment where any malaware are rendered harmless and deleted on emptying the environment provided by the above software.

Sandboxie is the easier of the two but Defensewall seems to provide stronger and extra coverage.Just a matter of getting to know the ins and outs of either program I suppose.

Still have my resident av and ZAP as realtime and both MS antispy and Ewido as on demand.
