Best (cheapest) basic printer that you can refill with ink yourself easily, no mess??

Hi Guys

I am looking for a new basic printer. I have heaps of spare black ink, so am looking to buy a printer, nothing fancy, fairly cheap where you can refill easily with your own ink and with no mess.

I am not too worried about using colour alothough that would be a bonus if refilling that is simple, easy and cheap too.

Any recommendations?

How ya doing? Well I hope.

Yes we have had plenty of printers, many second hand ones, but so much agg refilling the cartridges, mess and then they dont work.

There must be one out there that someone uses and can recommend, right? You would hope...lol

I don't know about the refillabilty of this printer, but at $35 it's cheap enough.

It's just the printer cartridge refillability that we are after that works

Stupid question perhaps? But why not checking out the stores that sell generic ink refills to ask which cheap printers work with the inks they sell?

oma, that's a very good question I'll make some more enquiries.

On a separate matter, I didnt think it was worth starting a new post and annoying everyone.

My Graphics card is: Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz)
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics (ASUStek Computer Inc)

would it be enough to play the game Second Life online

this is the link for the min requirements, I have Vista. Do I meet the requirements??

Just to update this post, we are getting a Canon Pixma mp640 wireless inkjet photo all-in-one printer, 2nd hand from FBook $55 picking up on Sat, so fingers Xd

For future reference, a new thread for a new question is normally a good idea.

the HD3200 is a rather old card now, and was low-end when it was new. As you can see in the link you provided, 3000 series cards are not supported.
