best codec pack/software for me ?

    Hi :wave

    I got:
    Windows 7 Ultimate
    VLC media player 2.0.2 Twoflower
    Windows Media Player 12

    I want my players above to play every video and audio in the world.
    that includes .FLV files and .ZVR files...

    the problem is I see all kinds of pack out there:
    shark007
    K-Lite
    Win7Codec

    and more...

    which one is the best ? can I install all of them together ? rolleyes

    Don't install any more codecs; VLC contains all you need.

    Since neither WMP nor VLC can play any .ZVR, you need to convert.

    Here is a program mentioned in several threads http://www.codeccodecs.com/video-encoder-zvr-converter-t208.html
    Install that, conver the files to WAVE and play them with either program or after you have the WAVE files, convert them to another format.

    PotPlayer can play ZVR files ?
    well as I posted I already have VLC media player 2.0.2 Twoflower and it can't play ZVR files,
    also I don't want to install any new player or convert ZVR files to something else, I really like how compact those ZVR files are.

    I regardless need a codecs pack for windows media player

    There is no codec pack that will allow you to play ZVR in your computer.

    still kinda left without an answer about which codec pack is recommended....K-lite, shark007 etc.

    ^This^ Personaly i use CCCP codec pack, but vlc has most that stuff built in anyways.

    what about windows media player ? and also I need Xnview and windows explorer to build thumbnails from video files and they don't seem to do that for all videos
