Or take a look here. Its the internet tools section of the main page. There's lot's of downloaders listed (you'll have to pick them out of all the other apps listed but there are several good ones on the list.) Warning some "free" downloaders are adware.

I just use the one that came with FireFox. Recently get the Download Sort extention, but haven't configured it yet.

I have tried several of them, the freebies, and Download Express does not have adware, and it is as quick or quicker than any of them.

The best payware I think is FlashGET, the old JetCar. You can almost smell it ;) But freeware rules of course. I got tired of the usual crowd and have been using Net Transport for last 3-4 months http://lycos26486.l97.lycos.com.cn/default.htm only on IE/MyIE2 tho - has a Netscape/Opera plug-in. Guess it will work. Anyway, has never crashed, picks up all links. Feels light and fast, does what it says it will. Best of all is it is updated over and over so just keeps getting better and less buggy.

I really like to run AV on downloaded files but it does not support that yet. When that comes it will be perfect freeware dl-manager for me. Oh also cant seem to get a sorted view of dl files, like size, date etc. Very annoying really but besides that it is great.

I have been using Fresh Download for over a year now, and I have been happy with it.

ya i was talking about freeware because i didn't want to pay anything. I was using download manager but after the trial i would have to pay. It is a nice download manager but after 60 days you have to pay.
