    Hi!

I have a lot of files I'd like to burn to DvDs .. such as .flv files from youtube and movies I want to burn to dvd so I can watch them on my TV. I've been saving to be able to buy a good program that I can trust to do these things with the least amount of confusion and difficulty. But I'm not sure WHAT program to trust. And I don't want to just throw this money away. It took a long time to save it up. :(

I'm looking for something that will allow me to burn most file types to dvd and hopefully have customization for the new dvd's menu and etc. And I'm not looking for something that is so complex that I will give up trying to figure it out. :(

Is there such a program out there?

    Any suggestions??

    Thanks for listening!!! ;)

I'm a fan of ConvertXtoDVD. It will take just about any video file type and make a DVD Video out of it, complete with customizable menus. It's not free, however. For a free solution, other people have said that DVDFlick is a good program to use. It will also take many video file types and make a DVD Video out of them, complete with menus. DVDFlick is not as powerful as ConvertXtoDVD, but it does get the job done.

I am definitely a fan of DvDFlick and that's exactly what I've been using all this time. :)
But now that I have a little money to invest into a better program ... I really want to take the time to pick the right one. The only thing wrong with DvDFlick for me is that I can't burn any videos I downloaded from youtube. And there's not much to pick from for the custom menus and it gets boring after awhile. But it's very easy and I love how simple and clean it all runs for me. I would LOVE a program like THAT just with a little more power. Know what I mean? ;)

Thank you for these suggestions tho .. they are AWESOME!! :D

If you're a Firefox user, there's a free extension available named DownloadHelper that converts streams to video, which you can then burn to disk using one of the aforementioned apps.
