Go AVG!

 

Not familiar with Ewido. Anyone know if it's it any good, and is it freeware or a paid program?

 

Ewido is pretty decent, and its freeware, which doesnt come with the automatic updates and spyware guard, but when you upgrade those features are included. I use it as a scanner along with Spybot and AdAware, and it picks up any mess those 2 leave behind.

 

Well, lets hope that they re-implement the AVG scanning engine, since though it's got some great functionality a lot of the features like real-time scanning and network monitoring are clunky at best.
